The African Music Summit is Proud to present the first in a brand new series of thought provoking, culturally relevant discussions on subjects of immense importance to the African and Global Music Community.

We aim to bring together some of the most important and culturally impactful thought changers from across the diaspora.

Our first event will seek to address the often lamented subject of Music Monetization in the Streaming Age.

Our panel of guest and contributors will discuss the subjects addressed in the Spotify docuseries ‘The Playlist. We will explore subjects and ideologies that seek to extract answers on how these issues impact music makers, drawing on decades of experience to Synthesize the answers most likely to evoke the necessary change.
